Up and down
I was just about to post an absolutely ecstatic entry to say I've got a job with the NSPCC -- a permanent one! I only interviewed yesterday and was planning on posting about that tonight and thinking I'd not hear until closer to the end of the week, but the man who is to be (yikes!) my boss rang me while I was on the bus home to say I got it! I almost turned to the woman next to me on the bus and shouted "I got the job!" I was so excited.
But I am now glued to BBCNews24 coverage of this shooting at Dawson College in Montreal. What on earth is happening? This is horrendous. In half an hour reports went from "four injured" to "Unconfirmed: four dead, sixteen injured." Why is this happening? This doesn't happen in Canada.
