Harmony Holiday: Element of Laughter
It's a Harmony Holiday today! It's June, the sixth month, so divide by two and you get Pinkie Pie, the third Element (Laughter). It's as easy peasy as Pie!
Harmony Day meant cake and swag. A bakery in a local supermarket does custom decorations in the icing if you ask. So I chose a picture I'd drawn for the 2012 Newbie Artist's Training Ground to be redone in frosting. I redrew and coloured it on a recycled scrap of paper to avoid leaving my sketchbook at the baker's.
I picked up the cake yesterday, put the swag on display and made an itemized sign-up sheet for the raffles. Some plushes had about 18 signatures. The swag came from a few stores in town except for the big Ty Pinkie. That was a surprise find at the zoo boutique.
Today I raffled it all off (two bosses and a vet were winners!). None of them are MLP:FIM fans, they planned on re-gifting to their kids or somebody else's kids. Pinkie doesn't mind.
Oh muffins. I forgot to serve the ice cream. Oh well, we'll eat it later.
