Here's the one that was written for me:
Nightmare Moon & Big Mac - by Trick Candle
The cliff face was treacherous enough during the daytime. But in the pitchdark of a moonless, starless night, Big McIntosh could barely see where he was putting his hooves. If it weren't for his lantern, he would have misstepped to his death long ago. The wind bit coldly at him, but he stayed stoic in his long trek to the peak.
Though the dim grace of the stars above were absent in the clear sky, they were not completely gone. He saw her flowing mane first, sparkling with a distant beauty like the sky he remembered. He would think it were serene, if not for the malevolent grin and her green, glowing eyes.
"You've arrived," Nightmare Moon said, calmly and with a satisfaction that made the fur on the back of Big Mac's neck stand on end.
"Eeyup," he muttered past the handle of the lantern before setting it down on the ground. His eyes were tight and hard in the flickering light.
Nightmare Moon seemed unfazed, unfurling her wings in a lazy stretch as she approached him. "So you've agreed. I'll spare the lives of your friends... and in return, you give me what I want?"
"Eeyup." Big Mac recoiled slightly as the tip of one of the wings brushed under his chin, and he could feel the chill of pure malevolence from the contact.
"You will be mine," Nightmare Moon says, glee making her voice tremble and rise in volume, "Forever!"
Big Mac closed his eyes tight, one tear escaping to run down his cheek. "Eeyup."
That's actually much darker than I expected - not a bad thing, though. Surprisingly well-written, too!
