Birthday parties, weaning, and such
We had Evan's first birthday party yesterday along with my father's 58th. Evan's was at lunch and dad's was at dinner. The ENTIRE family came up to Wilmington. Marti, Ed, and the 2 boys stayed with us and the others stayed at a hotel in Wilmington. It was hectic, exhausting, and loads of fun! Evan had a blast with his cake. I will post pictures when I get them, but it may be a few weeks. They are all on Ed's camera and he is supposed to send me a disk. We are having another party next Sat. with Doug's family and a few of my nice neighbors...not the crazy one across the street of course. It should be fun, but I am about birthdayed out right now! I have eaten more in the last 2 days than I would normally eat in a week probably. Not really, but it seems like it.
Also, Evan did not nurse at all yesterday. I am 95% sure he is 100% weaned, but I am not sure if he will nurse or not this week since Doug is on nights and I don't know if he will go to bed for me or not. I was sad when I realized we were finished with this stage of bonding, but at the same time I am so ready to have my boobs back!! Now, do I really need to get a smaller bra (sports bra) to help with drying up? I have only been doing 1 feeding a day since 2/1???
