Update

So what's been happening recently?

Saturday - was the Ordination service for our Pastor.  He's been studying theology at Spurgeons' College two days a week the past three years.  Next Saturday he graduates.  The College have said he's been different.  Most of their students are Students who have some Pastoral role in a Church.  He's

Did he go as far as putting a tv to broadcast the matchs, like some did in Germany?

No. Don't think we, quite, have the technology, nor the TV licence. Though several Churches locally have been showing various matches on big screens in their halls. Anything to get people in & show them we're only people too! But with a totally amazing God.

the pastor I heard in Germany said "jesus invented everything, football as well. I'm sure he rejoices to see people having so much fun at his place".
I thought that was kinda surreal. (been raised by a very "serious" priest in a classical church)

Nice looking building.

As for the German pastor - he was probably right. On the principle of Jesus liking to see people enjoying themselves anyhow, if not on inventing football!
