I'VE MISSED ALL THE WIERD LITTLE QUIRKY ENGLISH THINGS AND ALL OF YOU FOLK AND STUFF.
but I'm having crazy computer tiems now, so it's going to take me longer than usual to catch up on stuff and then Tuesday is RESULTS DAY so I will be in mourning for my future and things sooo...

(anecdote no.1, at the shop on the campsite we stayed at in Cavallino -nr Venice- I was buying a bikini top and the woman at the till spoke to me in German and instinctively, following far too many hours practising shopping role plays in class, I replied in the language then ended up having to continue the conversation in the language because I was too embarrassed to admit that I wasn't actyually English and my German skills are next to nothing.)
