Small sort of anecdotes
This is what was said when I ran into a friend for te first time in a few days. He'd deliberately worn his Spain football shirt to annoy me. I'm not sure he's actually taken it off since they won though.
Friend: Hey dirty Dutch fan!
Me: Hey annoying Spanish fan! (I suck at alliteration... so shoot me)
Friend: Do you like my shirt? Look, I've drawn a star over the badge in gold marker!
(in case you don't know, the gold stars on a country's National team shirt represent each time they've won the world cup. They are sewn onto all shirts made after the tournament, so this was an act of total football nerdom)

we persuaded the guys who watched Mean Girls to watch Titanic with us today, which spawned some great comments, but my particular favourite was;
Male Friend: Jack shouldn't be wearing a white tie, it looks wrong.
Me: ...it's Leonardo Di Caprio, he looks good wearing anything.
Me + all other girls in the room: He looks good wear nothing
Guyfriend: ... and you complain at us for being shallow ...
It's completely unoriginal, but it was amusing beyond belief that all four of us said it exactly the same way at exactly the same time... to our young inexperienced minds.
So when I posted this originally... 5 hours ago, I put it was original. I neeeeeeed to learn to spellcheck what I type.
and to finish;
Just saw Keeley Hawes in Mitchell and Webb, which I'd been waiting for for weeks, she ended up being in only about two minutes, but it was a good two minutes. Still undecided on wheter I like Identity.
OhRightIJustRemembered... my finger is healing! I can now type at almost normal speed again, I still can't use my little mouse/touch pad thingy, so I have to use a normal mouse which is annoying me because I normally sit with the laptop on a cushion on my lap (broken fan means it heats up toa dangerous level pretty quickly) and it's hard using the mouse like that. But neverthe less, progress is being made. And my plasters were changed from "Ultra Padded" to "Padded" yesterday, and although it makes very little difference to me, it's all progress!
ETA2; ahaaaa the finger thing didn't last long, my burnt "pointy finger" is now bandaged to my "sweary finger" for reasons I do not understand. But typing with just my "little finger" and "that other finger which has nothing special about it" is very inconveniant.
