RH Rewatch, 1x04-
So here I am, watching my Completely Legal dvd of Robin hood 1x04. I'm just going to say before I start this is one of my favourite episodes from series 1, despite it's flaws, and the waistcoat Robin dons. The wink? It was good, but I caught on the breath intake. You know, when Robin started to say something and stopped. The first time I saw it, I thought Jonas mad missed a cue, but after watching it several times, I know that it is a Robin thing, and totally planned. He's not perfect, ladies, but he's very close.

Random thought for you: This name was one of three seriously considered for my son. Not that anyone but me cares.
This was an excellent Robin/Marian episode. The "if only" scene was heart-breaking, as was the "always different directions" lines. If the TA people had not been so hell-bent on doing something completely "different" with the already perfect legend of Robin Hood, this show would be filming its fourth series. Idiots.
And random thought #2 for you: The hair cutting scene...in the audio commentary, Lucy points out four of her real life family members who were playing extras (sister, mom, dad, and granddad). I wonder how their participation affected her performance. She did look stricken in that scene. It would be interesting to know if she was thinking of them when it was filmed.
