although, I posted on 2 of them so it's really 17 days. But I'm just being pedantic... to myself... the phrase "you need to get out more" springs to mind.

(plus a month of exams... but I'm ignoring them for now)
It's so wierd. It's like... this has all dawned on me. It's just over a month until I can give up on education for good (not that I will be, that wouldn't be a particularly smart thing to do), and ONE DAY until I'm... legal.
Ahhh the joys of being in a state comp, where the only thing anyone can say to you on your 16th birthday is "hey, now you can have consensual sex and the dude won't be prosecuted", only it's shortened to "hey, you're legal" as my version would be far too much effort for most people to say, although the statement has very little point, as the fact that underage sex is an offense has never bothered most of the students in my class. Meh, I'm not from the first promiscuous generation, nor will I be from the last.
Anyhow, I'm starting to get a bit Beijing-sick. England changed a lot while I was away. It's now light in the evenings (which I was not expecting, it was dark in China), it's warm, and the Lib Dems are popular. Not that I should really be complaining about any of those three things. I just miss the smog-filled air (seriously, it was baaaaaaaaaaad), the traffic outside my window at 3am, our crazy coach driver who seemed to have completely bypassed the traffic light section of his driving test, the way CNN would spend all day rotating between four stories and 5 ridiculously annoying adverts...
I should really try and get some studying done now... laters :D
