soo so stylish

Today is going to be a weird day. That girl Angie got fired, so instead of it taking till 1130 to finish my morning paperwork, I got it done before 9. Now what will I do with the rest of my day? Tomorrow is going to be very interesting. I have to train all the salesguys and team captains how to use a credit card machine. I guess all the instructions I wrote and the signs pointing to the instructions weren't enough for those simpletons.

My mom and I had a long talk last night about our dads. I was laying on the soccer fields in jeans, bawling on the cell phone to my mom about how I felt and what I wished would've happened differently. Then I went back to my apartment and wrote for a couple hours. It's really amazing how much clarity I get from writing. Even though I can't say a lot of things to my dad, when I write them on paper, I feel somewhat satisfied. My mom waited too long to tell her dad how she felt, still feeling anger and hurt while he was on his deathbed. If I'm never able to tell my dad how I feel, at least I'm comforted in knowing I can tell her and she will understand.

I also got a couple secrets off my chest last night. These secrets were a pretty big deal too, because NOBODY had known they were lies. I literally would have taken them to my grave if I hadn't read a story about a girl who told a heartless lie to everyone she cared about. My lies weren't nearly as bad, but that story made me feel guilty and stupid. I'm glad I could tell my mom. She did such a good job of convincing me that I was justified in some weird way. I called Christina to confess to her first, but she was busy. I will let her in on them today I think.

I know I need to make some time to go apply for my passport, but that would mean taking time off work, and I don't like doing that. My mom got hers in the mail already, and she's giving me the whole Jewish grandmother guilt trip, so I told Valarie I needed to take a long lunch one of these days.

I'm also trying to figure out what I have planned for this weekend. Brazilian boy plays at 730 Friday night, and the girls play before him, so I'm definitely considering that. Christina is taking a road trip to Tallahassee to have a house-warming party for her friend up there. I'm trying to decide whether or not I should go. I have a lot of housework to get done that I put off last weekend, and I hate to leave my cat alone for longer than a day. Then again, road trips with her are fun. The last one we took was over a year ago when we just up and went to Gainesville to visit her ex. I think the most memorable moment was ChuckECheese when we beat up all those little kids for tickets. Sorry kiddies, if you can't stand the heat, get the hell out of my way!

Chrissy is coming home this weekend. She called asking if she could borrow my Napoleon shirt, not to say 'hi' or 'you are the coolest big sister ever'. She's lucky I already bought those Napoleon keychains, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten them. Dork.

Oh yea, I heard a rumor that kid-who-I-can't-say-his-name is going back to Continental from Collier Jaguar. I guess that means that chances of me running into him...well, they're still about 0. But if the dealership holds any special events, (or say, at this year's Christmas party!!), I will see him. I don't think I'm prepared for that moment. Maybe I need to start getting ready for the Christmas party now! Last year he brought a girl with brown hair who was wearing the exact same color dress I was. Everyone noticed and was laughing about it the next day. Not funny, if you ask me. This is exactly why you shouldn't get involved with people from work, it doesn't ever end up pretty. (By the way, I can't say his name, but you can find picures of him at this website: http://community.webshots.com/user/cherryfl112 . They're in the folder for my birthday, he's the strikingly handsome one in the grey collared shirt. Sighhh.)
