newbies the other white meat...
we had a couple of newbies show up... i mean a real newbie, one we can hopefully keep kind of newbie... they are so cute too... the one guy called me fast and really good... i almost blushed as i raised my sword in the air to watch his eyes follow it and then slapped him in the gut... newbie love to die to cramatic moves... but he did say one very important thing while standing on a ditch field... he said he was have a blast... he was expecting to really bad( and he is, like all other newbies), but he was really happy to be able to wound people and that is trhe real drug to amtgard... it is the equal to hitting one good golf shot on your first time out... it hooks you...no matter that you hit 18 balls into the woods and water you are hooked.. newbies are our life blood... we should try to be newbies more often... oh man that means we have to start battlegaming again... and no ryss ring the bell is not a battle game...
