I'd write poetry about your eyes
and how they leave me breathless
those captivating pools of blue
that tell secrets that seem endless
If I had the melody
I'd sing about your voice
and how your whispers make my heart beat
I'd sing about how I hear music
everytime i hear you speak
If I had the hands to create
I'd preserve your image
that would last for all time
but I wouldn't do justice
of what lies before my eyes
and if I were stronger
I'd take you in my arms
and offer you protection
because you're more beautiful than poetry
you're the best song ever written
you're image puts all art work to shame
you're everything
you're perfection.
