I'm POSTING! Really, you aren't imagening it...

I know I haven't updated in this journal since... a really long time. Sorry about that. I really was trying to enjoy my holidays to the fullest, and since I was traveling from the 6th July to the 26th, I didn't post right after I finished HPB, as I obviously would have, had I been here.

Then of course, there was the fact that I started cursinho the day after I got back from London. I've been getting up at six for my seven o'clock lessons ever since... most of you are tired of hearing this. I AM enjoying my classes, though. The teachers are something apart from everything and anything I ever had at St Pauls. So even if I DO have to get home and study for four hours, at least I'm motivated by the interesting classes I had on the subjects I'm working on.

We'll just leave my academic life at that, especially since most people are still on holiday.

I could babble incoherantly and infinitely about my UK trip, from Swiss Air losing my suitcase (and having to wear my mum's clothes (including a bra that was 3 sizes too small), to the London bombs, the Harry Potter book release, and FINALLY getting to watch The Phantom of the Opera on the last night. It's old news really, and I've probably summarised all that you people would be interested to know (a miracle in itself, considering who's writing).

HPB? Old News. But what can I say? I read that book in three days, I tried to make it last longer, but we all knew I was going to fail spectacularly with that one. On the last day I couldn't resist. My parents kicked me out of their room at our hotel flat around 11:30 - I finished the book in the toilette at two thirty, I was tired, my backside was stiff and I was actually shaking with anger. I've NEVER cried so much reading a book in my life. I hate to admit that, upon skimming the book again, it does look like the-person-I-will-not-name-for-the-sake-of-those-who-haven't-read-the-book might well be... on the right side. Unfortunately I was never fond of him anyway, and now I just- won't ever forgive him. As for Ron and Hermione, just. Grr. Overdue PEOPLE! Get cracking and stop occupying so much space in the book. I couldn't help but notice the LACK of Lily/James info in that book (ok, I know they are dead, but COME ON! Even Harry/Draco shippers got their share of action in this one!)

Sin City is an AWESOME movie. If you haven't watched it yet- Go! It's worth it. And when you watch Charlie and the Chocolate factory, and the OOmpa Loompa's start dancing, just... think of me.

I'm afraid you are all going to have to bear with me for the next 4 months or so, people. I have a University to get into and restful holidays to look forward to after that. My dad promised me two trips to see both Nats and Pay at the end of year holidays... if I get in. And going to New York and Greece is just half the reason why I need to work hard.

You haven't heard the end of me. There will still be time to keep in touch with Nats, Claire and Joho. And two of my best friends are still in SP -I intend on finding time to see as much as I can of the both of them (I was REALLY upset when I missed the chance to say goodbye to Sam on Wednesday, I just hope she knows how much I'm going to miss her). I was never the kind of person who put work before my friends- I HATE that kind of person, I refuse to become her.
