Morning training.
I was teamed up against Vegeto this morning at training. I wasn't sure how well it would work out, because we haven't seen him in awhile, but my fears were ungrounded. He's been keeping up with his fighting. And, seeing that I hadn't fought with him for awhile, I had to reaquaint myself with his style, which is always nice for a change.
I have no classes today. I have been working on catching up with what I missed while I was gone, but I would say I'm caught up and again, am starting to go ahead of what I've learned. However, I do have a paper due for my midevil literature class in a week, and I do plan to begin working on that today.
But, since I seem to have a little time this afternoon, I think I should see if King Vegeta wants to play a game of chess. I might not be as good as Bardock or Tanomi at the game, but I'm getting better.
It really does look as if we might have some snow soon. I have to admit, I do enjoy watching the snow fall. It's all very pretty and peaceful, as long as I'm sitting in a nice, warm, house.
It looks as if lessons are working out between my daughter and Mikomi. Since Mikomi is supposed to come over here this afternoon, I'm sure we'll hear all about it. I'm glad she's taking it seriously though. When it comes to swords, my daughter has a lot she can teach the right person, it's nice to see Mikomi could very well be that person.
Well, before I ask King Vegeta about that chess game, I think I need to take Thor for a walk. He's giving me those "Outside, NOW!" looks. And, I could use a bit of fresh air.
