Food

1 piece Whole wheat toast + raspberry jam
1/2 cup multi grain oatmeal

1 scoop whey + non fat milk
1/4 c TJ's all natural granola

tea+ 1/4 c soymilk
the same salad i get everytime, but this one kept getting attacked by bees!
- kidney beans, chickpeas, grilled chicken, red bells, cucumbers, red cabbage, spinach, mixed greens, balsamic vinegar + craisins + olive oil + basil dressing


I don't know what happened here...I got so hungry in the afternoon! I kept trying to pick normal healthy things to eat but I ended up taking down 650 calories post lunch...clearly I did not feed myself well enough earlier in the day. Note to self: when I do the 30 mile ride, I need to get a max salad and really pile on protein sources.

tea+ 1/4 c soymilk (again!) (30)
100 calorie pack of mini oatmeal cookies from Trader Joe's (100)
2% fage yogurt + 1/2 c frozen berries (200)

1 brown rice cake (70 calories)
handful of the bad Costco trail mix (100)

Fruit/Fiber bar (peanut butter) 150 calories, 30 from fat
 5 g Protein

Exercise

30 mile ride w/ Matthew and Todd Warren
 ...started out pretty pokey (11-13 mph) but when Todd met up with us around Bothell, we really started cruising 15-19mph. Big accomplishment: I no longer get completely defeated by the 156th hill coming up to 51st! First time I went on it, I thought I would fall off. Second time I tried to take it down, barely broke 6 mph. Today, I broke 10 mph! Still crawled to 8mph afterwards, but hey, improvement's improvement.
