I seen statuses and heard stories about people helping out their fellow person. Some have given money, assisted someone at a store, fed someone. A friend of mine made a FB status a bit ago saying that he helped a drunk man get to his house, or maybe a friends house because the guy was staggering and running into things. After he parted ways with the guy, he said that was his good deed for the year.
Things like that surprise me. Why does that one thing mean you shouldn't do anything nice for people for the rest of the year? I understand some acts of kindness are more taxing, emotionally or physically, than others but that shouldn't mean that you should "take off" from doing good deeds because something was difficult. There's always someone who could use a kind gesture. If it's a handful of change, giving up the last half of your sandwich, giving someone in line the money that they're short for their order, or just helping up a man who fell in the middle of the street, kindness never expires.
Do a good thing when you can.
kindness,
friendliness,
karma,
good deeds
