I wanted to thank all the people who wished me a Happy Birfday today. It's been a year full of ups and downs, but I'm glad to know that I have a number of friends behind me. I also decided to treat myself to a little something: Meet "Adrian Slack" - the Sarracenia cultivar. This is a highly coveted American Pitcher Plant. Only a handful of people world-wide are growing it and I was fortunate enough to come upon a specimen. Can't wait till this thing starts growing in spring.
