To My Little Grown Up Boy

Dec 25, 2004 08:11

I only want to know if you still smell of cigarettes and the cologne you never wear. My darling grown up little boy, you're my inspiration, eyes closed against harsh weather and a smile painted on, whether it be real or fake, that is a smile I envy. Found true love in the worst kind of situations, and probably don't lie awake at night wondering, ever. My darling grown up little boy, you instill inside me a faith; in things more than God or myself, but in the world and my place in it.
Boy, you have driven me to new heights, new lows, you have held me under and held me up, made me scream until I was blue in the face then kissed me and made it better. My darling grown up little boy, I love you. I'll always love you, grown up little boy. You can't hide from me, because you're always right there, in the raw place in my heart and soul. You're always right there; that place in my heart you dug yourself.

Baby, I love you.
