I trust you

The introduction that had been so devastatingly beautiful tore all their hearts and put them to tears. Some things just have to come to an end. Seohyun knew, of course, one day, the group will come to an end just like the older groups. She liked to think that it was not all just for each member's selfish reasons.

Seohyun knew how it is to become respectful. It was all that her life is and will be. It wasn't respectful to call her unnie a selfish bitch. It wasn't respectful to shout at their faces and tell them what asses they have been.

But Seohyun also knew of how extremely hard and tiring their lives had been. Tiring especially. Everyday the same old routine. Every performance the same old dance steps. Every show, the same fake smile and joke they make to stay in the business.

Sometimes, it's just so fucking tiring to hear the same introduction.

Hello! We are So nyuh shi dae!

A click echoed in her head and the simple warm melody of the piano plays. Into the new World.

It must be true. In their world, with so much love. There is also an almost equal amount of hate. Seohyun knew it beforehand but who knew that it would be this painful. Tiffany once told her that no one will ever hurt them because they are the best nine with the best bond and they will experience the best forever.

But there is no best forever. There is only the best nine with the best bond that is tested by the best challenges. They have grown weaker.

She remembers, well she should anyway. The best nine should. The best nine will remember. August 5th, 2007: the best and worst day of their lives. It signaled both a hard life and a life they loved and wanted.

I love you, just like this. The longed end of wandering.
I leave behind this world's unending sadness.
Walking the many and unknowable paths, I follow a dim light.
It's something we'll do together to the end, into the new world.

It's something we'll do together to the end. She hums low and shaky. She shakes her head. “There is an end.”

I love you, just like this. Seohyun knows that it is only respectful to wish her unnies happiness even though she is not part of it. At very least, they are happy. Happier.

The best nine with the best bond.

(Seohyun thinks it is not respectful to call them Ahjumma shidae so she keeps her mouth shut.

1, 2, 3 Hello! We are Ahjumma Shidae!

It would be really funny.)

The songs ends and she visualizes the crowd with pink light sabers. (The most epic idea, by the way.) They look down and look up and it was all a dream.

Yonghwa sinks his fingers deep in her skin and she shouts in pain. “What?!”

“You were chanting something when you were asleep. It was scary.”

She blinks and sits up, freeing Yonghwa's numb arm that she used as a pillow. He sits up as well and holds onto her shoulders. “We're you dreaming about the Pirates of the Caribbean without Johnny Deep?”

“No. Something far worst.”

“There's something worst than that?”

“Trust me. Loads and loads more.”

“Like?”

“Losing the unnies.”

“And?”

A smile appears on her lips. “Losing you.”

“Exactly. Now let's go back to sleep.” He pulls her down. A smile appears on his lips too. Seohyun doesn't see it but she knows.

“But you know, your unnies won't leave you and I sure as hell won't either.” Yonghwa wraps his arm around her.

She knows.

I've always wanted to write something like this. Purely my imagination but some can be accepted as facts. Up to you! :D!
