it just hit me
that when that message was put down onto the world wide web with apologetic keystrokes, I lost the last of what claims I had in the most valuable things in life, best friends. Instead of growing up together in the midwest and one leaving for greater things, while one stayed behind and became a trailer park single mother.... I grew up with her in an amazing city and I lost her to Kentucky.
