When Gus finds Shawn wandering around the Psych office staring at everything like he's never seen it before, he gets a little worried.
"Shawn?" Gus asks.
Shawn grabs the pineapple off the desk and turns around to face Gus, fruit raised in the air like a weapon. "Who are you?"
"Gus. Your best friend and..." Gus stops. Did Shawn really not recognize him? Because, if so, then this seemed like an excellent opportunity to get a little revenge. "And your boss."
"My... boss?" Shawn asks, skeptical, but lowers the pineapple.
"Yep. You're my assistant. And I was just coming over to pick you up before we headed over to our next client," Gus replies.

Gus is going to work on finding a way for Shawn to get his memory back. Really, he is. Just... it's not his first priority, because Shawn-with-amnesia is way better than normal Shawn.
"You're sure I'm your assistant?" Shawn asks as they're driving.
"Oh yes. You help out by... taking out the trash. Or copying. Or anything I ask you to do that's business related. The pharmaceutical industry is fast paced, so you're going to need to be on top of things," Gus replies.
"It just seems... wrong."
"That's probably because you hit your head, and now you're experiencing disorientation or something."
Shawn shrugs, but decides it's best to go along with what Gus says... for now.
