Hello! I'm sticking my nose in here because it is really quite long and itches. I encountered your journal quite by accident while searching for a vegetarian restaurant in Churchgate. Your entry about being nearly mugged near an ATM mentioned Churchgate so Google grabbed it. I did make a charming comment or two back there - June 6th or 7th, near my husband's birthday - as 'anonymous' because I couldn't figure out how to do it otherwise.
Now I've joined this journaling and hope we can be 'friends' as the system would have us.
My name is Susan, I live in Seattle. I am 62 years old and used to live in Bombay (about 40 years ago!) when I was married to a KSB. You mentioned talking to your Mom in Bangalore and of course I began grinning and dreaming of idli sambhar. Bangalore was one of my all time favorite cities, although folks in the call-centers there say that it has changed dramatically. Well, then, so has my dear native Seattle.
We live in a downtown hi-rise with our two cats.
Wishiing you every bright blessing,
Susan
