Haruhi's eyes were open through it all; her mind completely shut off in surprise that two years of dating could have never prepared her for. It wasn't gentle, or searching, or accompanied by fireworks - but it was hard and demanding and knowing and wet, and all she could think of was the fact that she hadn't brushed her teeth that morning and she liked it.
Mori said nothing - not before, not after, certainly not during - and so she also kept silent, though her fingers curled a little more firmly around his hand afterward.
