Actually, my short-lived journal hiatus is coming to an end, and hopefully not to temprorary of one! It's been an incredibly long, yet wonderful week. I'm having a blast working with kids, working 9:00-6:00 with a lovely one hour lunch, and making more than minimum wage. Finally, a little closer to what i deserve, thank you! I sound spoiled rotten and fairly vain, but forgive me. I've worked in food service my entire working life because i'm the queen of settling. :)
My legs are tired a little, but i can sit down whenever i want, and often remove my shoes with the kids, so it's pretty easy on me. The only down side is the 1,000 snotty noses i've wiped in the past four days... but oh well :) It beats bussing tables with bitchy baristas! (forgive my mouth!!) ;)
Anyway... i'm way excited to drive down to Corvallis for the weekend. (tomorrow after work...) I miss my roommates! It'll be a good time.
I feel kinda bad for neglecting my family this week, but i've had stuff to do each day after work and i get home so late and just hop in bed! Then i'm gone in the morning before they wake up. So I haven't made dinner all week, and I had been making it every day since I moved back, really. So I feel kinda bad! But they understand. :) Anywho, I'm rambling so I'm gonna take off, but I wanted to update this thing to let everyone know I LOVE my job, and I'm still alive. Adios!
