Spet 2, 2009 an update or something like it
So it's not the beginning of September. It has officially hit me that I'm done with school for abit unless I decide to return for some odd reason. That being said I seriously doubt that I will.
I'm still hunting for a job in another city, be that Tulsa or Little Rock right now. Most of my job hunting will be online or through people and of the evening time during the week. I would much appreciate the help in looking, passing along the word and all that is helpful. I have an English degree, office experience and most that goes with it. I also have sewing/costuming experience if that comes up. So there's tons of skills that I have from other jobs and classes.
Otherwise I currently as of the timeclock at 2pm today have a job. It is as a collections caller for a loan agency about 15-20 minutes away. While it's a job it honestly is not one that I want for a long period of time. *sigh* It is going to be nice to have a paycheck and money coming in but it's barely past the first day and I don't want to go back. They had a main person quit on Thursday, a call in today and the other lady said things suck there and she was on the verge of quitting if she could. Overall it's a job that I'll get 35 hours a week at $7.50 an hour, making it more than minimum wage at least. But I would prefer something else, even a simple off job as an Admin Asst, Front Desk Clerk, or general Secretary.
Good news is I found half of the pattern directions for a dress I'm cutting out and making. So soon I should have it all cut out and then posted. =)
