Writer's Block: My Biggest Environmental Pet Peeve
My biggest peeve is actually two. One is throwing cigarette butts out the window of a car. Seriously not good for the environment. Some animal can come pick it up..
My second one is recycling. Granted I wasn't a big one before I started college except for cans. But recycling isn't that hard if there's spots to do it. My first college had places all along campus for bottles and cans. It had places behind the dorms and in the dorms for recycling. My second college finally got it in the dorms for recycling, which is uber easy. Oh look empty bottle..hmm trash can or can for recycling in the exact same place. It really is easy to do..cities and such just need to make it an option.
