BN/NRxo!
I so love these TEAMS together. And I cannot wait until Fi and Dani gather to join forces against the Men in Black. No one will be left standing!

I think there is no end of possibilities with these two teams together. And once Dani and Fi get started, everyone is going to wish they never had, lol.

I think they may end up agreeing on a stand down or a retreat.

What a start! Touchy Mike, prickly Nico, involved Sam who objected to the 'not friends' comment -- because I do so like Sam's distinction between 'a buddy of his' and friends... Plus, as much fun as Mike is having with seeing Nico while he cuts Sam to the quick, I can only imagine Fi's levels of glee; half of Nico's comments sound like versions of what she'd say to Sam. ;)
Pity that early s4 means no Jesse. I know he's not to everyone's tastes, but wow he'd be a nice shot of extra mayhem.

I loved the idea of Sam and Nico being old SEAL buddies and all the complexity that gave them. They have such different personalities, but bonds get formed in that kind of work that aren't easily broken. Fi has a lot of fun, though, with this friendship and their "war stories." :)
Jesse does have a part in this, but he doesn't come in until later...

Mm, having Nico and Sam being old SEAL buddies gives the two canons a really good connection, and Nico an excellent backstory given what few bits of Sam's past they've revealed. And while Nico's wick is particularly short when this fic is set, in a different environment they might do some of their best work due to their glaringly different personalities. (Man this is fun to contemplate!)

It does. :) Nico's a lot like Mike in some ways, and Mike and Sam work very well together with their opposite personalities...
It was so much fun to set up it was almost a shame to come to the end (but everything has to end.)
