In case you've forgotten or you're a new friend, when that 100 Things LJ meme thing was going around last summer, I decided to do 100 Female TV Characters, which I've been verrrrrry slowly making my way through. I definitely want to get through the rest of the 100 by the end of the year (which sounds like plenty of time, but considering I'm only

I actually just finished a Buffy/Angel re-watch recently (my co-worker had never seen BTVS and I felt like that needed to be fixed) and ugggh my Cordelia feelings are so OTT. She went from a spoiled princess to being someone that was so brave and so easily able to empathize with others because of what she went through. In the end she made the choice to do what she did and it was magnificent. S4 was a complete mess for her, but her one episode in s5 always makes me cry from how much she blows me away.
I always feel like I like Dany more than most people. Her arc in s1/book 1 is fabulous, and then it's true that after that it doesn't really progress all that much (I guess until the very end of book 5). I've been annoyed with her tons of times in the books (especially in 5) but I don't think it made me really like her that much less? idk. Certainly her chapters aren't as interesting, but to me it always feels like that's because she's never interacting with anyone else I find interesting. After Sansa and Arya she's probably my 3rd favorite character though (discounting more minor characters like Margaery and the Martell ladies who I'm crazy about).
Diane is my absolute favorite on The Good Wife. All the women on that show are incredible, but if I were forced to choose I'd probably go with her.

ugh, I know, Cordelia is absolutely amazing. I didn't really realize it until I did a full series rewatch of Angel a couple years back, since there were a bunch of episodes I had missed (I didn't really watch the show as it was airing but mostly caught it in reruns and read transcripts of episodes back in the days before you could watch TV online easily), and I was caught pretty much unaware by all the feelings I had for her. And yeah, despite the mess that is her arc in season 4, her final episode in season 5 is just beautiful and one of my favorites from that season.
I do really love Dany! I mean, I remember when I was reading the books, I kept alternating between going "I LOVE DANY SO MUCH, SHE'S MY FAVORITE!" and "I LOVE SANSA SO MUCH, SHE'S MY FAVORITE." Now Sansa is definitely my fave, but I do really love Dany as well, and her arc in the first book/season remains one of the greatest things. I do wish she would get some more movement forward with her storyline now, though.
Diane totally does not get enough love (although I am guilty of that myself, since I tend to focus on Alicia and Kalinda primarily).
