I've pretty much accepted that the show's going to break apart Zoe and Wade at some point (probably in the pretty near future), but I'm just hoping however they do it doesn't ruin them and allows them to get back together pretty quickly. I really do hope they've given up on George/Zoe, too, though.
I'm glad you checked them out and enjoyed them!!!!! As much as there are parts of LBD that are disappointing me, there is still so much to love about it. And luckily if you just go straight through and watch only the Lizzie videos, you miss a lot of the disappointing stuff. The social media stuff is a nice addition most of the time, but in this case it just made things a lot worse; luckily that stuff isn't necessary for the enjoyment of the videos.
Yeah, that's exactly what my reaction was. It's not like I disliked it, but everyone seemed to have such a major emotional reaction to it that I was kind of surprised when I never ended up really connecting to it. It's actually the first book of his I've read, although I'd be willing to check out some of his other stuff.
