Meme: Breaking The Dry Spell

I haven't written anything in a while! I have tons of ideas, but real life seems to be getting in the way; and then when I do sit down to write, nothing really comes out right. It's like the words are choking.

So here's the plan to break out of this:

1. misery is a butterfly
"You'll be so pretty," Kefka crooned, fussing over the baubles in her hair; the feeling comes through the fog as a vague twitching itch. "A beautiful angel of death, my little flower. Stuck in your vase on a metal throne."

2. pretty when you cry
"Am I really... pretty?" Celes whispers into the mirror, looking for all the world like one of her lost children as she wipes away a tear; Terra bites her lip, because she isn't really sure what pretty is.

3. I'm your villain
Standing in front of the gate to the Esper world, Terra can feel it: a teeming, pulsing, eager magic, ready to do things -- hurt, heal, love, hate. She came here for a reason, but for this one long moment she wants to scream out at the Espers, so that they can stay back, stay safe, not have to listen to the human lies she knows they're all surrounded by.

4. all the madmen
She remembers multiple Kefkas: one who was kind and generous, tempting her with candy and promises of friendship; one who was cold and dismissive, pulling blood like a leech; one who was cruel and angry, and that was the worst of all.

5. if I survive
"It'll be okay," Terra whispered into Wille's hair, clutching the child even closer as Phunbaba raged above them. "It's alright, Mama's here."

Like I'd stay away from Terra/Celes, my original femmeslash obsession. ;)
