Normally I can't stomach Rosie DiManno, but I think she is bang on in in this recent article.
I can't even discuss the Williams case because it makes me sick, it makes me terrified. There is so fucking much wrong with it beyond the individual criminal. His case has illuminated so many of the problems women, especially women as victims of violence, experience a societal and institutional level that I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
