Drama at the gay party
Last night... ohhh man. Julia invited Amanda, Captain Mike, Joanna, Liz, and I to go to a 'golf pros, tennis hoes, and ceo's' party. Julia, Amanda, Mike, and I went. I dressed as a golfer with a wicked sweet shirt. We took shots, and met a lot of gay people, well, I did. That was awesome because I hadn't met anyone from UNH who was openly gay yet. It was a lot of fun. Julia and Amanda both knew people, but Mike and I didn't really so we ended up talking a lot. And all of a sudden Julia took Amanda, had a chat, and didn't want to talk to me. Julia took Mike out of the apartment at Woodsides and into the hallway. She confessed that she liked him, and Mike basically said that he didn't like her. She came back in, all pissed. Mike said he was going to leave, Julia told me to go with him and was kinda mean about it. Mike said don't worry about it because it was all about him.
Amanda: fine, should i explain a bit of the night to you?
Amanda: i believe there needs to be an explanation
Me: yes
Me: yes yes please
Amanda: alllrighty.
Amanda: WELL julia kinda told mike she was interested and mike kinda told julia that he kinda wasn't
Amanda: to julia, being drunk and angry, basically thought it might be a good thing if you left.
Me: why me thou?
Amanda: she was kiiiinda jealous of mikes attention toward you most of the evening
Amanda: but seriously...she was like 'oh crap. she probably hates me now.'
Me: oh. i thought she hated me
Me: i didn't understand why
Amanda: she was just feeling a bit depressed.
Me: i understand now
Me: i wasn't mad at all, i was more concerned
Amanda: so she still wants to hang out with you...maybe not for awhile...and probably never again with mike
Amanda: haha oh the lives of college students
Me: mike sorta talked to me about it
Amanda: yeeeaaaaah.
Amanda: well im still friends with mike.
Amanda: because hey he's my friend.
Me: ya
Amanda: but also i am friends with julia.
Amanda: and this ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME
Me: aw
Me: so why doesn't she want to hang out with me?
Amanda: because she was upset because she felt like you were flirting with him...right in front of her
Me: i have no interest in mike like taht
Amanda: good.
Amanda: that is something i will tell julia.
Me: if i did flirt with him, i'm very very sorry. and i didn't mean to
Amanda: allright.
Amanda: thats fine then.
Amanda: after julia cools off we can allstill be friends and itll all be alright
Me: i hope so
Amanda: itll be fine.
