last night issued forth some pretty awesome happenings.
1. Art show and meeting Katie. Katie rules, artshow rules. Ran into some DePaul deltasigs. We exchanged code words and secret handshakes. BRO. Katie is Graham's summer gal. She's way cool and surfs or something. But we all have strange talents during the first few weeks of knowing someone we want to impress, and those never materialize. But that's ok. Well-balanced individual, is how I'd describe her. A good fit.
2. XMENIII was rocked really hard. Some things were a bit...ummm...flabberghasting, so say the least. Truely entertaining. I found myself emotionally involved, which didn't happen all that much in I and II. The drama behind that is this: i guess someone organized the whole thing, then didnt go because i was going. Interesting how that works. It seemed like a leveraged plan to me, but hey, it happens. The night wrapped up with a nice quiet drive back to my house from the train station.
