The weekend flew by way too fast. Here I am, one final down (in 25 minutes, i might add) and four to go.

Allow me to alleviate your intense desire to know what I did over said breif weekend.

Friday:
Began with a bang; almost literally. I spent the majority of my time at work being pumped for the impending family olympics and researching gun laws in order to obtain an assault rifle. All I have to do is get a FOID (Firearms Owner's Identification) which requires a background check and a $5 check written to the Illinois State Police and being 18. Rockin'. Nothing too crazy, but I think I want this one.

Family olympics consists of various drinking-themed events. This years included:
+anchorman
+shotgunning
+flipcup
+beerpong
+icecube tray races
+drinking in between every event

The afternoon started of well, everyone was pumped as hell, and showing mad spirit for their fams, which rocked. I was on a team with Greg, Courtney, Hannah, McCarty, and Borchers. And we rocked early in the afternoon, winning our first events Ice Cube Tray Races, as seen below:

SO that obviously got everyone pretty pumped. Our next event was Anchor Man, to which we responded "fuck that we go for broke." Between myself, Vorholt and Borchers, we crushed the pitcher in less than 1 1/2 minutes. Not bad, because we tied the day's champs...twice. The first prompted a redo, and the second a judgement call by, you guessed it, the judge. Prescott turned down liberal offers to do "favors" for him and ruled against us. Oh well.
The afternoon continued, i took off my clothes and did a slip and slide, which then prompted a shower at Hannah's place and after some Fight Paris and a few more beers, i was ready for a fight and/or going out.

I got picked up by Meme and Megan and some others and headed uptown to 45 where we bought a tower of beer and some dinner. They came around and marked me under sometime after dinner...but my check still had a 3rd of the tower's cost on it. Whatever, I was fine with it. After 45 the night blurs. I know I ended up at an architecture party somewhere in there, Skippers some other time, ditched some girl there and wandered to Brick Street where dancing was the name of the game. Sometime thereafter, I ran into a girl in my german class who was too shitty to even know what was going on. So I babysat her and finally convinced her to walk to somewhere where she knew someone.

Then I woke up...
I had no idea where I was until Meme came out in a robe and we chatted for a bit before I got a lift home. Sweet deal. So apparently this was my bed for the night:

I don't think I could dream of an uglier couch.

Saturday:
Impromptu wine and cheese party turned into a marathon party, lasting north of 8 hours. From 11pm to 6am we drank wine, ate cheese, listened to music, watched vids...basically chilled. Alec woke up confused when Hannah and I came back here at 6am after I had dropped Noelle off. After a quick tour, I dropped her off at her place in Courtney's bimmer. Fun ride. I walked home to the sound of birds chirping and with a risen sun struggling through the dismal rain clouds. I was wet and tired. So I slept until 1pm and studied the rest of sunday.

Now I know what all the emo songs are about. Everything is over, I guess. It was fun while it lasted. But apparently I failed to keep her interested somewhere along the line. There's a new guy. I guess *EDIT*moving on something new is to be celebrated, huh? Well, then I'm waiting with baited breath to see which foot of mine makes the first move.

goodbye, kids.
