Hot still...
Hot day, got to fire some cool weapons, I.E. an automatic grenade launcher. Adapted to the heat a bit more today, been drinking a ton of fluids. The camelback is great, except after about a couple hours in the sun, drinking hot water doesn't do much for your core body temp.
I will say this kind of training puts a smile on my face. I love training with Marines, and especially my unit. We have some reservists from Boston... holy moley... accents make me want to crack up. I've never seen a Marine with a Boston accent. They're cool though... and they're the first white Marines I've seen in years! Just kidding... even though the 85% hispanic population of November Battery is a running joke.
Can't wait for libo this weekend, and it's only Tuesday.
