LOTS of new things about this post! I colored manga~! WELL, it's not all that great, but considering this is around one of the first few times ever that I've tried my hand at it... ALSO. Code Geass fanart icons~! It's mostly Suzaku/Lelouch stuff, with one Zero/Lelouch and one Schneizel/Lelouch. |D No Tieria this time either T___T but, maybe next

Ahaha, barely any, actually. I usually think like, okay, today I'll get around to coloring Jaibo and I see all the blood I'll have to color over and just give up. XD

Oh, that Jaibo.
I always try to make LHC icons and then despair about how I can never get the colors to look right, because IMO, LHC looks best in black, white and red.
So I just end up making grayscale icons. orz.
Anyway, your icon post makes me feel like the proud papa of the LHC comm. It's nice to see actual fandom activity. :'D

|D I know, other colors just don't... go. But I tried to copy the coloring style on the cover and then realized that all these panels I colored were already used in the cover so that fails harder. XD;

Too few people know of the awesomeness of LHC. They're always like, "Oh that guy looks like Sensei in the OP!" and I feel like headdesking. But I'll try and make more icons/recruit more people for our noble cause, Zera-sama! or something. ^^;;

I tried coloring stuff from the last chapter before anything got scanlated and just kshdgskg oh god it didn't work. I even tried just black, red and white and... It still didn't work.
Other Furuya stuff colors just fine though. It's only LHC that I have a problem with. DEAR FURUYA, PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS ODD PHENOMENON.

FFFFFFF That's actually how I found out about LHC. I saw the ZSZS op, sent it to my friend because it was full of awesome and anatomical drawings and she was like "HOLY SHIT, LOOKS LIKE LHC!".
Small world. :'D
Unfortunately, people have begun to associate me with Zera. Oh well, I will recruit more for Ladies' Night at the Hikari Club. orz

XD I can imagine... It took me like, 4 hours to do one panel. >_> And uh, hentai guro squicks the living daylights out of me so I've steered clear of the rest of his works. I only like LHC for all the pretty gay boys~ yesImanagedtogetpastthefirstchapter....

Ehhh? The rest of Furuya's stuff isn't hentai guro. He's actually got a really cutesy comic running in some sort of shonen-jump thing. Like the most ero thing of his that I've read is Short Cuts, which was a total lampoon of Ko-Gals, anyway. LHC gets way, way, way worse as you go on. Except it's so... comical. I am convinced that LHC is one big joke.

Small world! I really do wonder if Kumeta/the SHAFT team were referencing LHC, or if they were just using Showa-era uniforms.

Well, no. Not really. I suppose I'd rather be Zera than any of the others. Except for maybe Tamiya. I love Tamiya.

Oh, is that so? I thought I'd read all he did was guro and... well, that's why I kept away from most of it. XD; But I'll look up some of his other works sometime! ffff YES, TOTALLY HILARIOUS. USING A ROBOT TO SCORE CHICKS THAT THEY MIGHT THEN PROCEED TO HACK TO DEATH.

Oh, they were referencing LHC alright. He's got that mask thing on and his cap even has that star.

No. From what I've seen, he seems to do a lot of satire. I went into Boys' Crusades thinking it was going to be Litchi Hikari Club 2: Electric Boogaloo, and all I got was a little kid slicing his finger off. And some kid named Nico that looks exactly like LHC Nico carving a cross on his forehead. OH FURUYA, YOU CARD.
BEST IDEA EVER. FLAWLESS PLAN!

I still wonder though, since I think it's actually a cherry blossom on Nozomu's hat/buttons, which is like the most common button on gakuran and school caps. My gakuran has cherry blossoms. orz.
But then I remember that it's SHAFT/Kumeta, and that they reference everything under the sun.

And orz my internet hates me today. T____T I'm on LJ most of the time too, ha ha, and I usually reply quickly. It's just, like I told you for about twenty minutes or so, suddenly my f-list spazzes out and then everything eventually slows down. XD

Pull a CLAMP? I try to stay as far away from CLAMP as possible, so I am unfamiliar with their hijinks. (aside from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure doujinshi and the fact that they've threatened the world with doujinshi of Washizu from Akagi. orz.)

Hilariously so, believe me. I'm usually like, "wtf just happened... O_O;;" when it's done.

Ahhh.
I don't know. Some of the other characters in Shota!crusades look like LHC characters. I'm convinced that Jaibo's in it too.
Actually, I'm convinced that Boys' Crusades is just LHC with less gore and bizarre art. And Jesus. Can't forget Jesus.

I would totally be raaaaaaaging at LJ if that were happening to me. :'D

I wish someone would scan Boys' Crusades, or that I wish I wasn't such a cheapskate/too lazy to scan it myself. It's kind of hilarious.
