(no subject)
I just got my passport last weekend. YAY! Now I can finally go out of the country for a vacation, as soon as I save up the money to do that anwyay, lol. My mom and I are looking at a cruise that goes to Canada and Nova Scotia, Maine, and Connecticut. I have never really been to any of those places so it seems like fun.
I am babysitting my nephew right now so my sister can go out and have some fun. Being a single mother and working two jobs just can not be all that much fun. I think she deserves the time off every now and then. It is trying work watching a five year old though.
I wrote a poem the other night. I was in kind of a sombre mood and had just watched a movie about sad things so my poem kind of reflects on that.
Sinking deeper into you,
Your voice screams hurtling abuse.
I won't compromise myself,
Telling you that it's alright.
I won't be a victim,
I am not that jaded.
Watching you try to find the bottom,
Of that half way empty bottle.
At first you seemed endearing,
Now all that is left is fearing.
You tried to make me see it your way,
I'm not that interested in the games you play.
