Peets Coffee
I love my job....Well let me rephrase that. On most days I love my job! But somedays I really want to tell people off.
So me and my co-workers were talking today and we had come up with a list of things that really piss us off. So here they are.
1. Dont use starbucks lingo...This is Peets. We dont have fancy names for shit. We care more about the product we are putting out. And when you say I would like a "Tall" coffee and I say ok One small coffee and you get mad at me...Don't Tall means small at that other coffee place...I use to work there!
2. GET OFF THE DAMN PHONE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Mabey that should be number one! Nothing is more rude than that. And when you say..."Oh Im sorry I was getting coffee" to the person on the phone that makes us even madder. Or when you dont order your shit right because your on your phone and then make my barista re make your shit! Your lucky we cant spit in your drinks!
3. Throw your trash away. Im not your maid. I understand that I get paid to clean the store and make it look pretty but is it that hard to pick up your cup and throw in in the trash can before you leave the store. On that same note...If you spill something on the floor pleasedont just walk away. Please come tell one of us. Its a safty hazard for other people.
4. Plz make sure to pay attention when we call out your drinks. We really hate it when you take someone elses drink. Because your ass is retarded. Esp, when we have a rush. It really throws everyone else drink out of line!
5. On the same lines as above, pay attention, becasue when you ask for something special like a temp 180 or something like that. And you dont come and get your drink for forever and a day and when you do, you say something like, "Ummmm this is not extra hot" its your fault not mine, I made it they way you asked for it. You just did not come and get it!
6. Don't point at the pastry case and say I want this...We do now know what "this" is...We have name tags for a reason! We dont read minds.
I think this was all we had come up with today. But I am sure we will have more to add to this list...
