say goodbye to your sorrow & hello to tomorrow...!
i look forward to the weekends so much, because i know it is going to be so filled with fun & adventure & new things. mike came to the realization the other day that he is addicted to fun. hhah he got so freaked out & was all, "no, i really think i am! OMG MARIA!" ;)
every weekend, it means he's free from work & free to do what the heck ever he wants to do & i LOVE it because he totally goes all out & wants to go absolutely everywhere possible & see everything he can in those few days. he has so much passion & excitement for things like that & it totally just makes it for me. it's awesome.
so, now i always find myself looking forward to the weekeneds like nothing else. =) this weekend already we're planning onnn... meeting lucy at some point, ;) going to see blues traveler on sunday!!!!(anyone want to go? tickets are $30 at the door, show is at 7 in utica) go to the bluffs for a picnic & maybe do some thrifting. we're trying to keep it slightly lowkey this weekend because we're both trying to save some money. him especially because he can spend like nothing i've ever seen before! so i try my best to keep him grounded & help him out. i'm good at budgeting & spending less. somehow. we even each other out so well.
so on top of that, on friday(tomorrow) dennis comes back to us! I AM SO STOKED. i am so so so happy for him & excited! i'm happy for everyone that's missed him, karen & drew especially. it's too bad that issy isn't here to see him come home but... it's good that she wasn't here to see him leave though, i think. but he's already got one foot out the door, it's so close! i love that man like a second daddy, i am so proud of him for making it this far & being so strong. i cannooooooooottttttt wait to see him tomorrow! =D
