I’ve read the grim statistics. More than 21,000 women in our state will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. More than 4,100 will die as a result of breast cancer. This disease harms too many mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, and friends. Im asking anyone that can to please help me reduce the impact breast cancer is having on our community and give hope to those touched by the disease. Im walking in a breast cancer marathon on sunday the 23rd and Im doing my best to get together as many donations as I can in the next three days. Any money you can donate will help change the lives of people with this horrible disease. When you support my participation in "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer", you support lifesaving American Cancer Society programs that are making a tangible difference - right here in the San Diego area - every single day. So if you know anyone that would be interested in helping fight this disease, please go to http://www.kintera.org/faf/search/searchParticipants.asp?ievent=107131&lis=1&kntae107131=EC39F7DF1FD641D9AB8A031913220A3C&lis=1 and enter my name (Katy Cole) and give whatever you can. Every little bit helps. Together, we can make a difference, this disease has already claimed far too many lives. So in memory of those who have lost their battle, those who are still fighting, and those who one day will fight for their lives, Please give what you can. Thank you so much.
