Sometimes when I'm away I think of you.
Think of what I'd like to do, when we're alone.

The worst is over.
You can have the best of me.
We got older, but we're still young.
We never grew out of this feeling that we wont give up.

So is that what you call a getaway?
Tell me what you got away with.
Cause I've seen more spine on jellyfish.
I've seen more guts on eleven-year-old kids.
Have another drink and drive yourself home.
I hope there's ice on all the roads.
And you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt.
And again when your head goes through the windshield.

Cause man I know we never get things right.
And it gets so old just saying we'll keep trying.
But its mine to decide when and if I'll be alright.
And thats just a thing that takes time.

You know, you've got me in your hands.
I'll break before I walk.
Tonight we broke our plans.
To play games with our hearts,
for your blue skies,
for those times you felt alive.
Breathing and softly releasing.
I wont let you go.
