Man I so had a blast working the door at Crave... The theme of the event was like a military kinda thing, not sure why... So i ended up wearing my green army cargo pants... When I showed up someone had brought some steel flack helmets and well... I proceeded to wear them while I worked... :-) I so looked pulled off the laid back character found in the movies depicting the events in veitnam... Crave wasn't too busy so I went to the street's with my gear... :-) and armed with nothing but my smile. Holy shit... I prolly pulled 20 random people inside by simply making them laugh and being nice to them on the street. I didn't even drink... until the manager of Crave(Brett) insisted I come inside and enjoy myself later in the night. I worked from around 10:00 to 2:30 and ended up making 40 bux and then the bar tenders decided to tip me out which was unexpected... So the grand total for working the door was 55 duckits.... I made sure to tell Brett I would love to help him out in the future when needed. :-) I then went to the old Pharmacy which is now Grahms Place, an afterhours hideout. I ran into a great friend Idris who works the bar and he hooked it up all night on the house... I returned the favor by helping the influx of patrons and again checking ID's at the door. So to make things simple... I helped out people that simply needed some assitance and I was treated to free bar tabs, cash in my pocket and warm smiles from everyone I talked too. I finished up the night by having breakfast with a great friend Smiley...
