Automobile Update

Ok so I've recently learned that the 3700.00 figure on my car's damage due to the wrath of the psy-hail has increased another 1700.00 which brings the grand total to somewhere around 5400.00. Normally I would try to fight this to keep my paid off car in my possession, however I've been making some alternative plans until I receive final word on the status of my car. If they total it I've set my eyes on this fine piece of japanese engineering right here. It's quite a bit faster then my civic which I'm sure to have no problem getting used to. It's also pretty much in the current state my civic is in with aftermarket mods as well... It's already lowered, has identical rims as my civic, and also has a nice exhaust system. It's also the exact car I wanted when I was younger, but I couldn't seem to afford it then. It all seems pretty simple to me now... I would need to put about 2000.00 back into my civic to fix a few misc. problems after any of the hail damage would be repaired, plus I've wrecked the car several times in the past. So ultimately my civic's fate is in the hands of a crooked Insurance company that seems to be really good at speeding up the process to total my civic out. If my car makes the cut and they decide to fix the damages I've located a carbon fiber hood and trunk which is cheaper then oem parts, enough white civic paint to shoot the trunk and hood, and a good buddy at a dent-less repair shop has quoted me around 1200.00 to remove all the hail damage on the rest of the car. This however would be more time invested then I'm willing to at this point, which is why I'm hoping to end up with that shiny silver prelude... Man... I've never had a sunroof before... :-)
