Right then, who wants to give me some definitive definitions of the terms:
a.) flat
b.) studio
c.) bedsit
...as they're commonly used in letting literature in the UK at the moment? It's the studio business that confuses me most. Is it somewhere in between flat and bedsit? Or are these terms used fairly loosely and interchangeably?
I don't think I want a studio in any case, but y'know. Just so's I know it's something I don't want.
In other news, I completely failed to be assertive when Darlows rang (they caught me on the hop), and consequently I've got to show two more lots of people round the house tomorrow morning. Waaaah. Zero tolerance for any Thursday viewings they try to book, damnit. I shall be hardline. Well, maybe...
In other other news, I have a haircut booked for tomorrow. The question is, will I be brave enough to ask for a fringe, or even advice as to whether one would suit me? Ahhh, the eternal dilemma. But is now the time to broach it? Hrrrm. It doesn't help that the only picture I have to hand of the sort of fringe I'm thinking of (kind of sweeping/sloping off to one side down my face - graduated? I don't know the terminology :-( ) shows said fringe being sported by... erm...
Miss Piggy. Who is Miss January on my 2007 calendar (a Muppets one, would you believe...), so her hairdo is kind of in my face at the moment - I haven't been trawling through images of my favourite puppets looking for one with a hairstyle I fancy, or anything like that. No, really...
I'm well aware how ridiculous this is, don't worry.
Though I can't help longing to know how the hairdresser would react if I told her, "I've brought a picture along, I want to look like
THIS!"
