He's got that cat-look when they're transfixed by something completely invisible to humans. What a sweetie.

hope you're feeling better soon ...

Oh, if we could see some of the things that cats see... I'd certainly be interested to know just what it is that's so entrancing in the washing machine when there's a load on!

Well, since I posted this, my sister's invited me round to hers for 'the televisual event of the year', which is apparently some sort of top 100 Most Haunted moments or something. So I'm feeling much, er... I'm not sure that better is quite the word for it! :-S

Thanks dear :-) xxx

'the televisual event of the year'

I was thinking that we were the only house in the whole of the UK not tuned in to either the X-Factor or Strictly Come Dancing this evening. We've spent the last fortnight without a telly (poorly TV and slow repair man) and are only just catching up ...

Chivers came and lay on the table while we were eating earlier. He's still very interested in anything that involves mushrooms, even though he's tried mushrooms before and really doesn't like tham at all : )

Have a good rest-of-weekend!

It's like one of those old photos of a theatre diva during make-up. He's just missing the turban.

Heh! I'm sure that Mr DeMille could do a much better job of it than me - just so long as he keeps the camera well away from me...!

I'm sure he'd suit a cigarette holder and silk kimono, too :-)

I saw your cat in a dodgy club.

Living up to his name, and getting up to Dirty Tricks.

Fie!! Such vicious libel, such cruel defamation of a character pure in thought and deed!! Young Mr. Branwell is a clean living, athletic fellow, who takes no wine or porter, and spurns the town's alehouses frequented by those disreputable alley mogs. Indeed, nothing more potent than a few licks of baked bean juice has passed his kittenish lips!

I declare, the track marks on his forelegs are mere testaments to cat flu vaccinations, and nothing else!! Whatever you dandies and wastrels may put about, with your whispers and poisonous notes... This picture is clearly a case of mistaken identity, or some newfangled trickery!

Well, all I can say is that I saw it in 'Smack Cat' monthly...

Perhaps then it was a back issue, and the picture is in fact that of his errant father. I've long had my suspicions about what sort of parentage the poor child must have had to have ended up in the foundling home...
