Friends are like television.
Some are like PBS and always asking or talking about money.
Others are like the news, with sad tales to tell everyday.
Some are like the foreign language channels- you don't understand a word of it but you listen and watch anyway.
Some are like the soaps, self absorbed to really care or think about anyone else except themselves.
Some are like Jerry Springer or any other talk show, full of drama.
And then there are the ones that are like commercials, always changing, ever-so-annoying some what addicting and only seem to be there when you are bored or at the most unexpected or unwanted times. Popping in and out of your life.
But every once and a while you meet someone who's like a really good movie of the week or like that one TV show you hardly ever get to see anymore because you're so busy with your own things in life.
My point is hold on to the friends you care about and since we don't have a remote control to mute someone or just change the channel, pick your friends carefully...
