By the time I get to Philly
I missed the blog posting yesterday due to no access to a computer. Yeah, I wish it was for a good reason. I was so busy dealing with useless fuckin convention people (GES you know who you are. Fuckers.) followed by setting up our exhibit booth, followed by a walk through our National Zoo followed by a road trip to Philly to meet with vendors who are actually from Jersey but out here everything is so fuckin close you don't know where the fuck you are and where you have been. I swear I passed some fuckin "state" called Delaware. What the fuck does Delaware mean? I guess thier big fuckin claim to fame was being the first fuckin state of this fuckin country. Too bad the first state goes by in a fuckin blink. Kind of like this country in the history of time, a fuckin blink. What I do love about the East Coast is that I don't have to fuckin watch what the fuck I say. Nobody fuckin' cares what the fuck you think let alone what the fuck you say. So fuck you!
Seriously. Very busy out here. I love Washington DC and kind of wish I went to college here. Of course I say that about a lot of places but there is so much here for students to see and do here. As a history geek I understand why the best Historians in U.S. academia reside in Virgina. First it is gorgeous and second there are so many source materials out here. Yeah, I had an orgasm checkin' out the Library of Congress.
Did I mention I have worked all weekend? Sucks. Jet Lag is gone though this morning I threw up some nasty bug right up outta my stomach. I guess that's why the MIB is located out here. People get a lot of bugs in their guts.
Tomorrow I work all day at the Expo. Tuesday I have the morning off and I am gonna get me some quality history time in. Look for pics when I get back to sweet home LA.
God I miss LA now that I write her name out. I know I have only been there just over a year but it sure is a great place to go "home" to. I miss my cats. I miss my Lady. I know she is doing fine though and probably is quite enjoying this space. Word had it she and the girls had a full schedule this weekend which makes me smile. She needs to do more of that.
I need to get some sleep for once today. We'll see how it goes.
Oh. My beloved Green Bay Packers won again today. I missed the game as I was working the booth but fuck yeah!
Okay...here's to three more days of the American Public Health Association Expo and then I am heading back to Philly to see Joanne and her peeps at the esteemed R and S Northeast. Joanne single handedly puts a paycheck in my hand and I thank her for that. I look forward to seeing her operation.
