So, apparently the University does in fact block many of the ports that IRC needs to connect. But, according to the tech guy I spoke to (who is a representative of the University), I can either try using other ports or a different program. So, that means, if I can find a way to connect it's not against school policy, which means I'll be back on IRC way soon. I already found an alternative port, so hopefully, everything keeps working fine and I don't have any more IRC issues.
I can't "borrow" any music while I'm here on there network though. Shhhh. . . I'm being monitored. Which sucks because Mikey gave me this huge list of dance music before I moved here and I didn't have a chance to download the full list. So, I'll either have to purchase it, or wait until I go home. But, more than likely I won't be listening to much dance/rance/whatever music while I'm here cause I'm having a craving for underground rock. Hmm. . . It's probably that college atmosphere and the fact that the Athens underground music scene is killer.
I'll probably be online tonight since I have a very late class tomorrow and I'm having a craving for some online chatting and whatnot. So, if anyone is around, message me.
