Her hands are dancing
No one knows why
Her family won’t learn
They don’t want to understand
She tries to yell
A high pitched squeak
Still it goes ignored
For so long they knew nothing was wrong
She just stopped listening
Didn’t hear the yelling
Wasn’t important anyway
Why should she acknowledge their screams
They’ll only cause her pain
How dare they be so rude
No one can hear her
No one will rescue her
It’s her fate
But she wants to fly away
No one can harness her dreams
She holds them tight
They can’t hear her
They’ll never manage that robbery
She stopped trying today
They stopped listening years ago
