(no subject)
Mixed day today. Found out Onyx's insulin is going to be under $300, not including tax. This morning she ate a few bites of food, so I gave her a shot, and five minutes later she was barfing. She ate a few bites when I came home tonight, I didn't give her a shot, so far she's keeping it down. [hands] However, I cannot use the cheapest pharmacy because that's CostCo where I can't pay with a credit card. So I'll go to Target. :p
My computer has decided to have profound insomnia, even with the lid shut. The thing the internet says is the most common cause? Was already configured correctly. No fucking idea. I restarted it a couple times, and it started doing it right after a restart. Which was right after a virus and malware scan that came up empty.
OTOH, we had a great session with

jmtorres chauffeured and made excellent cake. The party killed a Drow. \o/ The spiders kind of got to me, though. Not sure if that Drow was the Black Spider big bad, or if he was just a minion. Does only the big bad get spider-control powers? I got an inspiration point for putting on the bugbear crown before getting all Cuisinart on a bugbear who went from fanboying the elf for being hardcore (she was the one who carried the bugbear head into town in the first session) to trying to eat her. I also nearly killed the group laughing after Dick (not my character) found out the hard way what happens when you use a cutting attack on an ooze and I reminded everyone "no slashing". After I tried to get a limp Dick out. What? It was in a narrow corridor and he was unconscious and blocking the way. It might have been on purpose. So many Dick jokes in that battle.
